... It took only a moment more before your other foot began to thin and twist around into a matching fluke, sending you slipping down onto your belly beneath the shower's waterfall. Your flippers slap wetly against the concrete as you groan in frustration, your body refusing to move and function as you had always known it, both legs together in an increasingly flexible tail, your hands at your shoulders as flippers, you could barely move more than a useless flop. You felt your chest barreling out, your whole body gaining weight and thickness, compounding the issue at hand before your face takes your complete attention- with a loud crunching sound from your sinuses, your nose begins to pull back, traveling upward slowly to the top of your head as you feel your jaws begin to stretch ever outward, as if your face was silly putty being stretched from behind. Your teeth file down into a toothy, permanent grin as the grey skin travels over your face and new dolphin snout, longer and longer as your head twists backward to aim forward from your body, growing in size. Your hair soon succumbs as the sheath of rubbery skin takes over, a warm hued stripe down either side... it would be mere moments before there was no way at all to know you'd ever been human. If you had had a chance to get to the water on your own, you long blew it in your fascination with your odd metamorphosis, squeaking to yourself in dismay, and finding your voice routed through your new blow-hole in the process. No matter though, the folks on the beach would find you soon, and they'd quickly have you carried into the sea, the distant sea, that you feel calling to you... longing to be in it and never leave.
